TAIL FREQUENCY

Intermediate:

There are times when you need to get the fly underwater, but not too far below the surface. That's when you need Frequency Intermediate fishing line. Built with a slow sink rate, the Frequency Intermediate will drag streamers and submerged flies beneath the surface cut to get them to where the fish are. Perfect for still water situations and also great for casting streamers in rivers, at this price it would be silly not to buy one.

- Particularly effective for streamer fishing

- Thin diameter cuts the wind

- Ideal for use in still water situations

- Medium length head for better line control

- Drop rate: 1.25 ips (intermediate)

- Braided multifilament core

Skins 3-6:

If there's a better way to fish lakes and ponds than a fully sinking line, we haven't found it. The Frequency Full Sink is the perfect sinking fly line for still water anglers; handles streamers and submerged flies with ease, cuts through the wind and features a medium length head for great line control. We built the Frequency Full Sink with two sink rates and with the idea that large underground lines don't have to cost a fortune.

- Particularly effective for streamer fishing

- Thin diameter cuts the wind

- Ideal for use in still water situations

- Front welded ring on Sink 3; The Sink 6 includes a braided ring connection

- Medium length head for better line control

- Sink speed: 2.5 – 4.0 ips (Sink 3)

- Sink Rate: 5.0 – 6.0 ips (Sink 6)

- Monofilament core

TECHNOLOGY:

- Advanced Shooting Technology: Scientific Anglers' patented dry-slick technology provides seamless line glide, allowing the line to shoot farther as it moves through the guides. Lines with AST easily shed dirt, algae and other parasitic particles, allowing the lines to cast farther, float higher and stay cleaner than traditional lines.

- Welded Loop: Exceptionally smooth and durable, our Welded Loops produce smoother casts and easier turnover with a seamless transition from fly line to loop, ensuring softer landings and cleaner pickups. The sleek design also maintains buoyancy for improved line buoyancy and allows for quicker connections between line and leaders or line and backing.

RECOMMENDED CARE:

Cleaning with soap and water on a cloth removes most dirt, but cleaning swabs work even better. If properly cleaned, your lines will cast better and last longer, certainly a good trade-off for a couple of minutes of line maintenance. To use the cleaning swab, pinch the swab over the line so that the abrasive, non-foam side touches the line. Pull the line through the pad while maintaining some tension. Repeat this process until some of the fly line color is visible on the pad. Clean your lines every 2-3 rides, or whenever you think dirt is hindering their performance. Cleaning swabs are easy to carry in your vest or gear bag and can be used at any time, wet or dry. Please note that line dressing can be used to reduce drag during competitions or in practical casting scenarios, but we do not recommend it for fishing.
