- Scientific Angler Line Identification:

Discover the scientific angler line identification system. SA•ID is an innovative line tracking system that allows you to identify your lines at a glance. Who knows if a muzzle is 200 grain or 300? Just look at the SA•ID. The SA•ID can be found on the first 1-2 feet of the tip section of the line.

Scientific Anglers' patented dry-slick technology provides seamless line glide, allowing the line to shoot farther as it moves through the guides. Lines with AST easily shed dirt, algae and other parasitic particles, allowing the lines to cast farther, float higher and stay cleaner than traditional lines.

RECOMMENDED CARE:

Cleaning with soap and water on a cloth removes most dirt, but cleaning swabs work even better. If properly cleaned, your lines will cast better and last longer, certainly a good trade-off for a couple of minutes of line maintenance. To use the cleaning swab, pinch the swab over the line so that the abrasive, non-foam side touches the line. Pull the line through the pad while maintaining some tension. Repeat this process until some of the fly line color is visible on the pad. Clean your lines every 2-3 rides, or whenever you think dirt is hindering their performance. Cleaning swabs are easy to carry in your vest or gear bag and can be used at any time, wet or dry. Please note that line dressing can be used to reduce drag during competitions or in practical casting scenarios, but we do not recommend it for fishing.
