BUGSTOPPER® SOLARFLEX® HOODY

Biting insects and hot sun require a wearable solution. The BugStopper® SolarFlex® Hoodie is the answer, protecting you from both. Insect Shield® technology protects you from swarms, while lightweight, breathable UPF 50 fabric keeps you cool when the day turns tropical. Protection is also accompanied by increased comfort thanks to the smooth construction with flat seams, raglan sleeves that promote mobility and a reliable full-time hood.

FABRIC TECHNOLOGY:

- Body: 92% polyester/ 8% spandex

- 143 g/m² single jersey knit

- Finished with HeiQ Fresh FFL, MM and Stain Away

UPF50: UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates the amount of UV radiation from the sun that is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 50 will only allow 1/50 of the sun's UV rays to pass through. This means that the fabric will significantly reduce the skin's UV exposure. All of our UPF finishes last as long as the garment, an industry standard of 30 washes.

INSECT SHIELD®: Insect Shield® repellent clothing provides long-lasting, effective and affordable personal insect protection to help fight insects, some of which can carry diseases such as West Nile Virus and Lyme Disease. Insect repellent clothing has been registered to repel mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers and (blind) midges. The active ingredient of Insect Shield is so closely linked to the fibers of the fabric that it maintains effective repellency for the entire life of the product.
