UPF30: A fabric with a rating of 30 will only allow 1/30 of the sun's UV rays to pass through. This means that the fabric will significantly reduce the skin's UV exposure. All of our UPF finishes last as long as the garment, an industry standard of 30 washes.

INSECT SHIELD®: Insect Shield® repellent clothing provides long-lasting, effective and affordable personal insect protection to help fight insects, some of which can carry diseases such as West Nile Virus and Lyme Disease. Insect repellent clothing has been registered to repel mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers and (blind) midges. The active ingredient of Insect Shield is so closely linked to the fibers of the fabric that it maintains effective repellency for the entire life of the product.
