FLY REEL LOOP EVOTEC G5

Our immensely popular and reliable Evotec reel series continues its incredible evolution with a sleek, updated design and numerous improved features. The G5 is the fifth generation member of the family and a worthy successor to the much loved G4. Like its predecessor, it remains the workhorse among all fly reels. This latest incarnation features a new brake knob system with a thoughtful design that will increase control over the brake, even with cold fingers. We've also introduced a new spool holder, which offers a much better grip during spool changes, and improved the overall strength of the frame. With the continued presence of the robust and smooth Power Matrix drag system, the Evotec G5 truly excels in any fishing environment for a multitude of species, and is the reel to attach to your rod when the fish of your life hits your fly. Available in 8 unique models and a stylish gunmetal gray color scheme, the G5 reel also works with G4 replacement spools.
