This new fly series we created specifically to meet the rules on some rivers where metal cones and weights are not allowed. The rubber turbo cone opens up the water, creates turbulence and with the extremely light soft material design, this might just be our most lively fly design. THE FLY

MODEL CLASSIC BLACK & SILVER RUBBER TURBO

A real all-round fly. Sparkling silver against black gives the best contrast. If you don’t know what to pick? Choose a black fly! This is one of my absolute favorites for clear water cloudy days, or in the dawn or dusk wherever you fish. The Black & Silver has saved many fishing days. I fish them in all sizes, down to the tiniest little sparsely dressed version.

MODEL CLASSIC PAHTAKORVA RUBBER TURBO

Mikael’s most well-known pattern. A fly that has taken tens of thousands of salmon. We fish it gladly and often. A standard fly which works everywhere, it might be best in tea coloured rivers. Every year this fantastic fly gives us some of our best fish, no matter where we go it simply works. Voted among the locals as the best fly on the best river in the world – the Alta.

MODEL CLASSIC WILLIE GUN RUBBER TURBO

The British standard classic with its fantastic colour combination - here in a softer even deadlier version - a must in the box. We vary it a bit regarding to water colour. When more colour we do the orange tubing and the gold cone. Over all a fly that works in many places. For salmon, we fish it mostly without the rubber legs, even if they do give the fly extra sound.

MODEL CLASSIC NASTY BANANA RUBBER TURBO

The Banana Fly concept has been popular ever since Micke Andersson showed the world how good the dirty yellow fly could be. For Mikael personally he fished his Scott and Moonshine flies long before he created this version. We tinted it to the olive side and pimped it a bit classic style with the dyed teal hackle. We prefer to fish this in the humus-coloured river when we need a discrete fly to stand out a bit more than my overall favourite Pahtakorva. 

MODEL GREEN SAMURAI RUBBER TURBO

Many, many years Pahtakorva in different versions gave Mikael most fish. Then this little deadly fly saw the light. Now it’s one of his top three flies every year and is our favourite in the Samurai family. Choose the right size, anything from 15 to 3 cm and fish it almost straight across the river. Warning – the takes will be fierce!

MODEL ALLY SAMURAI RUBBER TURBO

Yes, here we have taken the colours from the famous Ally Shrimp and dressed up a Samurai and it’s a super fly on the dirty river. Sometimes that fast orange fly is what does the trick even in clearer waters. Perhaps this works the best towards the end of the season. Please remember to tie it slim and fish it fast, that’s what it’s designed for and that’s when it’s deadliest.

MODEL SILLEN SAMURAI RUBBER TURBO

This is one of our best sunshine flies. We love the “herring look” and so do the fish. For us it was obvious we had to do this great pattern in a Samurai version. It originates from one of Mikael’s oldest and closest fishing buddies, Roland Holmberg’s “Sea Habit fly”. A pattern that has taken many great fish. A clear day, fresh fish running just up to you to fish it fast enough!
